This project was made after https://1fatgmc.com/RailRoad/DCC/WiTcontroller-Index.html, using a self designed case and different components. It’s not really worth mentioning the build process here, so I will mainly focus of operating and maintaining this throttle. I already found an issue I couldn’t solve.
The software includes the capability to assign functions (defined in the file actions.h) to buttons. I wanted to have incremental accelleration and braking on the 4×4 Keypad’s A and B buttons (as well as changing speed multiplier C and direction on D but this works). I can decellerate pressing B, but I cannot accellerate pressing A even though the button has been assigned the SPEED_UP functionality.
I need to put some research into this. Otherwise I’m happy with the device.
